He aspires to become an Amish person so he can fit in with the many other straw-hat Miller's that surround him in his hometown. |
Holly McGill- OAC 2012 Rep |
A self proclaimed 'suburbanite' from the lovely city of Pickering, Holly is a second year animal science student whose family still doesn't know how she got roped into all this agriculture business. Nevertheless, somewhere in between the early mornings, the dirty stalls, and the muddy boots, Holly fell in love with it and figures Guelph (and agriculture!) is pretty much stuck with her now. Now that she can no longer spend her time playing with the various items that wash up on the shore of Lake Ontario by the magical glow of the nuclear power plant, Holly enjoys antagonizing her fellow Aggies with her constant questions, wondering just how everything works on a farm, and why those soybeans haven't been harvested yet. Even though her specialties lie with horses, Holly hopes to one day learn how to feed those mysterious black and white creatures she sees around everywhere. |

Jaclyn Pynenburg - OAC 2013 |
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and raised in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Stephen's dichotomous upbringing is reflective of how he ended up in Guelph... studying Turfgrass Management. He graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science Mathematics and French in May of 2008. If you're still reading this and can't understand why someone would travel half way across the country for a completely different discipline, neither does he. Yet, he happily resides in Guelph, spent the past summer in Virginia working at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club and is looking forward to contributing to the SFOAC this coming year. |

On Sundays do not talk to Danny unless you’re talking football. Danny frequently enjoys the cottage life and waterskiing while weather permits. |

Katie Ling - Food Science Rep |
Laura Somerville - Animal Biology Rep |
Laura is a third year animal bio student. Laura wasn’t born, but was raised in the town of New Dundee, where people are few but the trees there make excellent listeners. In coming to Guelph, Laura had to do a lot of adjusting since she could no longer play ‘hide and seek’ in large fields and she found out that waving to everyone in a city results in strange stares and a sore arm. She has been accused many times of spending too much time watching horrible television. Laura has also been known to investigate strange noises with a large knife in hand, so prankers beware. |
