SUMMARY:OAC Poultry Club Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our last meeting of the year! We’re hosting Dr. Kayla Price – UofG grad\, previous poultry club president and Poultry Technical Manager for Alltech Canada. She obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Guelph studying under the supervision of Dr. John Barta. The focus of her Ph.D. was chicken Eimeria species and the environmental influence on live Eimeria vaccine success in commercial poultry rearing\, specifically looking at practical ways to enhance success in pullets reared on wire floors. She’s going to speak to us about what she does at Alltech and opportunities within the field.\nWe’ll also hold our club elections – we are still looking for nominations!
