Executive Members

Meet the 2025/2026 SFOAC Executive!

Josie Meyers, President

Hi everyone, my name is Josie Meyers, I’m a fourth year B.Sc. Agr student majoring in Honours Agriculture and this year I have the privilege of serving as your SFOAC President. As President, my role is to support all OAC students while strengthening our community and building connections within the OAC and other Colleges across the University. Being an Aggie is something truly special that comes with incredible opportunities, lifelong friends and of course a whole lot of fun! No matter your interest, the OAC has something for everyone. I encourage everyone to get involved and explore all that the OAC community has to offer. Whether it’s joining a new club, entering a Tractor Tug team or attending the OAC Leadership Conference, you’re bound to find something that sparks your interest. Throughout your time in Guelph, you’ll become part of a supportive network of great students and alumni who are all here to support you throughout your schooling and future endeavours in the agriculture industry. The friendships and connections you make here are truly special and will last a lifetime. My advice is say yes to new opportunities, as they’re endless and some of your best memories will come from stepping outside your comfort zone and getting involved. I wish everyone the very best in the upcoming school year and remember have fun and don’t forget to smile!!

Hi there!
My name is Kelly De Bruyn, I am a third-year B.Sc. Agr student majoring in Honours Agriculture. This year, I am the SFOAC Secretary. Within this role, I send out the Aggie Update every Sunday and Wednesday, take minutes at the SFOAC meetings, and manage the SFOAC email. I am from a farrow-to-finish pig farm in Salford ON. This is where my passion for agriculture began. Having 3 siblings already have gone to Guelph, it was only natural to come here too! I have been involved with the OAC Swine Club, the 2028 Class exec, Tractor Tug for Tots, and OAC Winter Games. Your time here at the OAC will fly by so take advantage of it by getting involved and meeting new people! The classes and knowledge you gain here is good, but the connections and friendships you make here are irreplaceable! If you ever see me on campus, feel free to say hi!
